Solar Power at Carriage Hill Farm

We recently had solar power installed on the southern facing roof of the car barn where the B and B apartment is located by Western Solar which is located in Bellingham, WA.  You can not see the array from Farm To Market Road.  If you would like to see it please contact us.  Our solar array consists of 62 Silfab 300W monocrystalline PV modules that were manufactured locally in Bellingham, WA . Our total system size is 18.6kW.  Our 62 panels are connected to Fronius Primo 10.0kW and 6.0kW inverters.  The graphic below is supplied by the eGauge energy monitoring system installed at Carriage Hill Farm.  The green area represents power generated by our solar system.  The red area represents power consumption everywhere on the property over the last 72 hours.

Your stay at our Bed and Breakfast in Bow could be completely carbon neutral depending on the outside temperature and the need for running the propane furnace.   We have several electric space heaters available should you choose to use them instead of using the propane furnace.
